TRADITIONAL ANIMATION

Traditional 2D Animation is the oldest form of animation such as cartoons. Although these original animations were hand drawn and painted, advances in technology and software now allows us to produce the same high quality animations much quicker and more cost effectively. 

STORY BOARDS & LAYOUT

Story boards are essentially a series of numbered sketches that help visualize the scenes for animation. They usually will include such detail as action and motion in a scene and can include written descriptions of dialogue, sound effects and transitions. Story boards are the most important part of the pre-production process, as they form the basis and to a point set the feel of the animation. These story boards are used in several ways to help coordinate different aspects of the creative teams that will work on the animation.

VISUALIZATIONS

Visualizations are a very effective method of communicating ideas or concepts. These visualizations can be used for numerous applications such as science, education, engineering and medical.

DIGITAL INK & PAINT

As part of our 2D Animation Services we can also provide Digital Ink & Paint Service for any supplied artwork that requires this type of treatment. Similar to conventional cel animation, we use computers equipped with a graphic tablet to digitally apply the same inking and painting effect.

DIGITAL BACKGROUNDS

Digital Backgrounds can be simple or complex. Simple Digital Backgrounds usually involve backgrounds of nature like sand, sky, asphalt, foliage, etc. More complex Digital Background work often involves man made structures or features not readily available or able to be built that are usually very detailed  and contain shadows, reflections or intricate lighting.

COMPOSITION

Compositing is the combination of compiling various visual sources into a single image. This is often the case when there is a need to create an illusion that the original source images are part of the same scene.
